How It Works
MiaPrep’s online curriculum makes a quality education accessible to as many learners as possible. With MiaPrep’s accredited online high school curriculum, your student can work at their own pace and level. With access to all lessons from grades 7th-12th, MiaPrep uses engaging lesson videos, games, and extension activities to help learners make real-world connections to their studies.
MiaPrep’s all-in-one curriculum also makes homeschooling a breeze for parents! With our powerful parent tools, you can effortlessly assign courses, create report cards, and track attendance, keeping your student on track for graduation. You’re also able to reward your child with Gold, our in-site currency. Students can use their Gold to play games and participate in our safe, moderated online Community.

High School English ELA Curriculum
MiaPrep’s online high school English curriculum connects students with multiple different genres, authors, and themes throughout their reading. Students will also write persuasive and expository essays, analyze English literature, learn advanced grammar mechanics, and practice their vocabulary, all in one program.

High School Science Curriculum
At MiaPrep, we take high school science beyond the screen! Students will learn about celestial bodies, forces, cells, genetics, ecology, molecular bonds, and more. Our science courses integrate hands-on experiments and virtual simulations that fulfill lab credit requirements, so you can be confident that your child stays on track for graduation.

High School Math Curriculum
Our high school math classes equip students with the critical thinking skills essential for real-world problems. Our math curriculum teaches algebraic expressions, equations, graphing skills, systems, and inequalities. Students will also learn about angles, statistics, and the area, volume, and perimeter of various shapes. These advanced mathematical concepts foster logical thinking and also prepare college-bound students for higher-level math courses.

High School Social Studies Curriculum
Our high school social studies curriculum gives students an in-depth look at global civilization and governments throughout history. In this course, students gain insight into diverse cultures, religions, geographic landscapes, and governmental systems worldwide. Additionally, it helps students create an understanding of global citizenship and civic responsibility in their everyday lives.

High School Electives
Elective courses are an important part of any well-rounded education. They provide new skills and enrichment opportunities for your student and can even help them explore their hobbies and future career paths. Check out our available homeschool high school electives below!
Life Skills: Learn about financial literacy, computer skills, physical education, programming, career skills and more in our many Life Skills courses.
Music & Arts: Students explore art and techniques from around the world, read music, and participate in theatrical arts in our fine arts classes.
World Languages: Our online foreign language lessons help students learn a new language with ease. We offer six different languages for students to choose from: ASL, French, Spanish, German, Attic Greek and Latin.
Graduation and Transcripts
Graduation is an important capstone for any student’s high school experience. In many states, it’s up to the parent to determine their student’s graduation requirements and provide a high school diploma.
We currently offer two options for high school, MiaPrep and MiaPrep Online High School (MOHS). MiaPrep is our accredited asynchronous curriculum, while MOHS is our accredited online school. Because MiaPrep is a curriculum and not a school, MOHS is our only diploma-granting program at this time.
For college-bound high school graduates, they’ll need a transcript when it’s time to apply. A high school transcript usually includes completed classes, final grades, and credit hours. Both MiaPrep and MOHS include powerful record keeping tools, so you can easily make your own transcripts!
