MiaPrep\u2019s online high school English curriculum connects students with multiple different genres, authors, and themes throughout their reading. Students will also write persuasive and expository essays, analyze English literature, learn advanced grammar mechanics, and practice their vocabulary, all in one program.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
At MiaPrep, we take high school science beyond the screen! Students will learn about celestial bodies, forces, cells, genetics, ecology, molecular bonds, and more. Our science courses integrate hands-on experiments and virtual simulations that fulfill lab credit requirements, so you can be confident that your child stays on track for graduation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
Our high school math classes equip students with the critical thinking skills essential for real-world problems. Our math curriculum teaches algebraic expressions, equations, graphing skills, systems, and inequalities. Our high school social studies curriculum gives students an in-depth look at global civilization and governments throughout history. Elective courses are an important part of any well-rounded education. They provide new skills and enrichment opportunities for your student and can even help them explore their hobbies and future career paths. Check out our available homeschool high school electives below! Graduation is an important capstone for any student\u2019s high school experience. In many states, it\u2019s up to the parent to determine their student\u2019s graduation requirements and provide a high school diploma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We currently offer two options for high school, MiaPrep and MiaPrep Online High School (MOHS)<\/a>. MiaPrep is our accredited asynchronous curriculum, while MOHS is our accredited <\/a>online school. Because MiaPrep is a curriculum and not a school, MOHS is our only diploma-granting program at this time.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n For college-bound high school graduates, they\u2019ll need a transcript when it\u2019s time to apply. A high school transcript usually includes completed classes, final grades, and credit hours. Both MiaPrep and MOHS include powerful record keeping tools, so you can easily make your own transcripts<\/a>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Life Skills<\/a>:<\/strong> Learn about financial literacy, computer skills, physical education, programming, career skills and more in our many Life Skills courses.
Music & Arts<\/a>:<\/strong> Students explore art and techniques from around the world, read music, and participate in theatrical arts in our fine arts classes.
World Languages<\/a>:<\/strong> Our online foreign language lessons help students learn a new language with ease.
